When the Character Object was release in Cinema 4D R13 it enabled non-character animators and riggers a way to dive in and experiment. While not perfect, it is easy to set up and points you in the right direction if you are looking to add some animation to a character or object.
In this Cinema 4D tutorial, I show you how to quickly setup the Cinema 4D Character Object to rig a character. While working through the tutorial, think about ways you can adapt the character object into your motion graphics workflow. Is it possible to rig non character mesh such as a volleyball with one of the presets to create a unique animation? Experiment and see what you can create.
