As a follow up to the Truck Damage Tutorial I wanted to post a follow up with a couple other procedural methods of creating worn, weathered, and damaged objects in Cinema 4D.
- Use Deformers to proceduraly create damage. Here I used a Displacer Deformer to create the body damage on the truck.
- Use the Weathering Shader to create a bleached out look on your objects. The help file on this one is pretty limited so you will have to play around with the settings until you find something you like. Basically, you load in a texture or another shader to help create streaks.
